CM Revanth gives appointment letters to 5,192 lecturers and teachers

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy disclosed today that his ascent to the current position began at a government school.

Speaking at the ceremony held at LB Stadium, where 5192 lecturers and teachers were presented with appointment letters, the Chief Minister stated that his government has successfully issued appointment letters for 30,000 jobs in the state within three months. He emphasised the pivotal role played by the unemployed and youth in Telangana’s progress, attributing the fulfillment of the dream of a separate state to their sacrifices.

The Chief Minister expressed that while the establishment of a separate state was expected to bring justice, the hopes of the youth were thwarted during the 10-year tenure of the previous BRS government due to family rule. However, he asserted that the aspirations of the youth are now being realised under the Congress rule.

Revanth Reddy acknowledged comments mocking his English proficiency, revealing his educational background in a Zilla Parishad School with Telugu as the medium of instruction. He further disclosed that he continued his education in a corporate school in Gudiwara, Guntur. Criticising the previous government, he highlighted the discrepancy between their claims of establishing numerous gurukal schools and the absence of permanent buildings for these schools. The Chief Minister criticised the closure of 6,000 schools by the Chandrasekhar Rao government, citing it as a hindrance to education in remote areas.

Furthermore, he accused the previous government of neglecting the backward classes’ educational needs, forcing their children into traditional professions without offering sufficient resources. Revanth Reddy stressed that funds allocated to education should be considered investments rather than expenses, benefitting the younger generation in the long run. (INN)
