Hyderabad: The Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) has been postponed in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Top officials from the education department have decided to reschedule the POLYCET exam, originally slated for May 17. Consequently, the exam will now take place on May 24.The announcement regarding the POLYCET exam, which facilitates admissions to polytechnic colleges, was made in February. Online applications for the exam have been open since February 15 and will continue to be accepted until April 22. It is worth noting that besides engineering, successful completion of the POLYCET exam is also a prerequisite for admissions into agriculture, horticulture, veterinary, and fisheries courses offered by government and private polytechnic colleges in the state.
