MANUU hosts job fest Amid Jashn-e-Baharan celebration

Hyderabad: To bridge the gap between academia and industry, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) organized a Job Fest exclusively tailored for final-semester students on Thursday as part of Jashn e Baharan festivities.

According to Dr. Md. Yousuf Khan, Director, Training & Placement Cell, 20 companies spanning various sectors, including technology, finance, healthcare, and education, participated in the job fest. Participating organizations eagerly showcased their career prospects, offering insights into job roles, internship opportunities, and career progression pathways.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, inaugurated the event, saying, “The Job Fest serves as a crucial platform for our final semester students to transition seamlessly into the professional realm. By connecting them with esteemed employers, we aim to empower our graduates with the requisite skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields.” Associate Director of Magic Bus India Foundation Sai Prasad was also present. He appreciated the efforts of the Training and Placement Cell of MANUU for the successful collaboration.

The Job Fest witnessed a remarkable turnout, with around 150 students actively engaging in networking sessions, one-on-one interactions, and on-the-spot interviews.Saba Kausar, a B.Tech student, remarked, “The Job Fest provided me with invaluable insights into the current job market and enabled me to explore potential career paths”. (INN)
