Green India Challenge continues with sapling planting in Siddipet district

Hyderabad: Rajya Sabha member Joginipally Santosh Kumar reaffirmed the commitment to the Green India Challenge, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation for the survival of humanity.

On Wednesday, he participated in a tree-planting event in Erravalli village, Siddipet district, where almond and cantaloupe saplings were planted.

During the event, Santosh Kumar urged people to plant saplings on birthdays and other special occasions to promote greenery and ensure a healthy environment. He highlighted the critical role of environmental protection in ensuring the sustainability of human life.

Raghava, co-founder of the Green India Challenge, former Civil Supply Chairman Mareddy Srinivasa Reddy, and other members also participated in the event. They collectively underscored the importance of continuing the tradition of planting saplings as part of the Green India Challenge initiative. (INN)
