Telangana to experience light to heavy rains over the next four days

Hyderabad: The Meteorological Center of Hyderabad has forecasted light to heavy rains across Telangana for the next four days. The trough extending from Rayalaseema to the central Bay of Bengal is expected to persist at an altitude of 3.1 to 5.8 km above sea level, influencing the weather patterns in the region.

From Saturday to Sunday morning, districts including Asifabad, Manchrial, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Mulug, Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, and Sangareddy are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gusty winds.

Heavy rains are expected in Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, and Rajanna Sircilla districts from Sunday to Monday morning. Additionally, there are indications of thunderstorms and lightning in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Bhongir, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Nagar Kurnool districts.The Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow alert for the respective districts, indicating the likelihood of rain in various parts of the state until June 19. Citizens have been advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with weather advisories. (INN)
