Hyderabad: The Met Department has forecasted heavy rains in Telangana for the next two days.
Stable surface winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour are expected to affect several districts over the next three days. From Thursday to Friday, heavy rains are likely in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, and Hanamkonda districts.
Additionally, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are expected in Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Mahabubabad, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
From Friday to Saturday morning, moderate rains are likely in Adilabad, Komram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Medak, Kamareddy, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for these districts.In the past 24 hours, moderate rainfall has been recorded in Nizamabad, Jagtial, Adilabad, Wanaparthy, Sircilla, Suryapet, and Mulugu, among other districts, according to TG DPS.
