Revanth Reddy announces free tours for government school students under ‘Telangana Darshini’ programme

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced a new initiative to offer free educational tours for students studying in government schools. These tours will cover various historical and tourist sites across the state and aim to enrich students’ knowledge of Telangana’s heritage.

During a meeting with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Revanth Reddy stated that the programme would be called the ‘Telangana Darshini Programme.’ He explained that the initiative is intended to raise students’ awareness about the state’s rich history and its important tourist destinations. The government has already issued official orders to implement this scheme.

Present at the event were Tourism Minister J. Krishna Rao, Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department Vani Prasad, Chairman of Telangana CII Chapter Sai Prasad, the Chief Minister’s Special Secretary Ajit Reddy, and other dignitaries. (INN)
