Hyderabad: Hyderabad experienced intense heat throughout the morning on Friday, with residents facing stifling conditions. By around 4 PM, however, the weather changed significantly as cool winds swept through the city, leading to heavy rainfall in multiple areas.
The downpour provided much-needed relief from the heat, leaving the city, often called ‘Bhagyanagaram,’ drenched.The rain, which started late in the afternoon, brought down temperatures, offering relief to many who had been struggling with the oppressive heat. Over the last few days, various parts of the city, including Tolichowki, Nampally, Mehdipatnam, LB Nagar, Chaitanyapuri, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Panjagutta, Khairatabad, Somajiguda, and Begumpet, received moderate rainfall, cooling the atmosphere.
