Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed the newly appointed Vice Chancellors (VCs) of the state’s universities to focus on eliminating drug and marijuana trafficking on campuses.

He emphasized that the state government would not hesitate to take corrective action if any misconduct is identified within these institutions. Additionally, the Chief Minister assured the VCs that they have full freedom to improve the universities’ standards and that the government would support those who perform effectively.Reflecting on the past, Revanth Reddy noted that students once held university leaders in high regard, a sentiment he hopes to revive through these renewed efforts.
