CM Revanth Reddy inaugurates Hyderabad’s second largest flyover at Aramgarh

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated Hyderabad’s second-largest flyover on Tuesday.

The newly constructed Zoo Park—Aramghar flyover is 4.4 kilometres long and 24 metres wide. Built at a cost of Rs 636 crore, it aims to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity in the city. 

Speaking at the inauguration, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s progress, stating, “Hyderabad is competing with global cities like New York and Tokyo. We are committed to transforming it into a world-class metropolis.” 

The Chief Minister praised his colleagues for their efforts in the city’s development and acknowledged the government’s dedication to improving infrastructure. He noted that Rs 7,000 crore has been allocated for Hyderabad’s development and expressed confidence in the city’s growing global reputation. He also emphasised Hyderabad’s role in technological advancements, recalling how Rajiv Gandhi introduced computers to India and credited Congress leadership for significant contributions like the Outer Ring Road and the establishment of pharmaceutical industries. Highlighting the city’s historical efforts to support the underprivileged, Revanth Reddy lauded former floor leader P Janardhan Reddy’s fight for the welfare of the poor and asserted that it was Congress governments that addressed critical issues like the city’s drinking water crisis. (INN)
