Telangana launches ‘Build Now’ online system for building approvals

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has introduced a new online platform, ‘Build Now,’ to streamline building and layout approval processes across the state.

IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu launched the initiative on Tuesday, marking a significant step in enhancing urban development governance.

Speaking at the launch event, Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the state’s emphasis on urban development, noting that around 60% of the population resides in urban and metropolitan areas. “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is personally overseeing the department’s activities to ensure cities and towns are equipped for future growth,” he stated.

The minister also underscored Telangana’s business-friendly environment and its commitment to fulfilling public promises. “We are continuing the development initiatives introduced by the previous government and implementing unprecedented schemes. Hyderabad remains a leader in the real estate sector, with the city witnessing high demand for housing loans,” he said. The ‘Build Now’ system is expected to simplify administrative procedures, reduce delays, and improve transparency in the approval process. (INN)
