Telangana explores semiconductor and Hub-and-Spoke investments

Hyderabad: Telangana continues to attract global attention as a destination for high-tech and logistics investments. SambaNova Systems, a leading AI platform company based in Palo Alto, California, and the MTC Group, partially owned by Mitsui Japan, are exploring opportunities to establish a presence in the state. 

Su Le, Chief Growth Officer of SambaNova, met with Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu and other Telangana officials to discuss potential investments in the semiconductor industry. Known for its advanced AI platform that powers deep learning and innovation, SambaNova expressed interest in Telangana’s favourable ecosystem for technology-driven industries. The talks were described as positive and promising. 

In another significant meeting, Minister D. Sridhar Babu engaged with the MTC Group to discuss expanding their Hub-and-Spoke model to Telangana. The Mitsui Japan group, which holds a 25% equity stake in MTC, aims to bring innovative logistics and supply chain solutions to the state. Efforts will soon begin to identify suitable land for their proposed investments. 

Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted Telangana’s progressive policies, excellent infrastructure, and vision for attracting global investments. Both initiatives align with the state’s strategy to strengthen its position in advanced technology and logistics sectors. These developments reflect Telangana’s growing reputation as a hub for cutting-edge industries, with further updates on these potential collaborations expected soon. (INN)
