Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka reviews health budget proposals

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha held discussions on the health department’s budget proposals. The review was conducted in light of the upcoming Telangana Assembly budget session, scheduled for the end of this month. 

As Finance Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka is reviewing budget proposals from different departments daily. During the meeting with the Health Minister and senior officials, key topics included the construction of a new Osmania General Hospital building, improvements in government hospitals across the state, and the development of medical and nursing colleges. Sources revealed that the meeting also focused on ensuring better infrastructure in district and area hospitals. The health department’s estimated budgetary requirements for the upcoming financial year were compared with last year’s allocations. The Telangana state budget is expected to be presented in the first week of March. (INN)
