Cash for vote scam: Mattaiah says he has threat for his life

Hyderabad: Jerusalem Mattaiah, an accused in the cash for vote scam involving TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy, approached the National Human Right Commission apprehending that he had threat to his life from AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and TS Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

In a petition to the NHRC, Mattaiah said that he feared for his life as he received threats frequently.

He said that the Naidu and KCR would be responsible if anything unwarranted happened to him.

Speaking to media persons he said that since the scam came to light he was being harassed and feared for his life. He said that he had sought protection for his life. He said that he was being made a scapegoat for no fault of his. (INN)
