1 lakh double bedroom houses in one year: Talasani

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the TRS government was committed to provide double bed room houses to homeless-poor in the State and as part of the scheme, about 1 lakh homes would be build in the state capital in the next one year.

Speaking to media persons, after laying foundation stone for a shopping complex at the IDH Colony, the minister said that the shopping complex would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 43 lakh.

The minister said that the state government constructed 396 double bedroom houses in the IDH colony and handed them over to the beneficiaries till now.

In the year 2016-17, the State government has decided to build one lakh houses in various slum areas in the city, Srinivas Yadav said. (INN)
