Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has approved the name of Gorati Venkanna, People’s Poet, for the prestigious “Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao Award – 2016” along with cash prize of Rs.1,01,116/-.
The State Government had constituted a committee for selection of an eminent personality for the prestigious “Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao Award – 2016”.
The Committee, which met here on August 30, recommended the name of Gorati Venkanna which has been approved by the government. (INN)
