Medak: Irrigation minister T Harish Rao on Monday said that the TRS Government was committed to the welfare of the farmers and vowed to complete the Mallanna Sagar project come what may.
Speaking to media persons, Harish Rao accused the Opposition of spreading false propaganda with regard to the irrigation projects undertaken by the state government.
He said that nine farmers came forward to give their lands for the project under the GO 12O but it was Oppostion which misled farmers and approached High Court.
Harish Rao said that the state government would protect the rights of farmers and farm labourers. He said that the Congress and TD would be responsible for any loss to the farmers. (INN)
