TS Govt gives nod to fill up vacancies in new districts

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has begun the exercise to fill up the vacancies arising in various department post reogransiation of districts.

The Finanace Department gave its nod to fill up these vacancies. The government has notified 2,206 vacancies in different departments. The government gave clearance for 2,109 posts in Revenue Departments required for new districts, revenue divisions and mandals in the state.

Vacancies notified are ;

Revenue Officers in District Collectorates – 12, Tahsildar Cadre – 98 posts, Deputy Tahsildars – 4 posts, Senior Assistants – 180, Senior Stenographers – 21, Junior Assistants – 60, Junior Stenos – 21, Record Assistants – 42, Drivers – 42, Jamedars – 21, Office Subordinates – 149 and Watchmen – 53.

Likewise, in Revenue Division offices, the government has notified Deputy Collector – 24 vacancies, Divisional Administrative Officers – 24, Deputy Tahsildars – 6, Senior Assistants – 12, Junior Assistants – 2, Record Assistants – 24, Drivers – 24, Deputy Inspector of Survey – 24, Deputy Statistical Officer – 24 and 24 other posts.

In Revenue Mandals: Tahsildars – 104, Deputy Tahsildars – 104, Mandal Revenue Inspectors/ Senior Assistants – 232, Junior Assistants – 120, Mandal Surveyor – 120, Office Subordinate – 308, Assistant Statistical Officer – 120 and Chainmen – 120.

Similarly, the State Government also notified the vacancies in education department with 85 Mandal Education Officers to be appointed. A total of 12 posts in R&B also have been identified. As many as 4 posts of Executive engineer, 4 Superintendent and 4 Junior Assistants posts have also been identified. (INN)
