India’s Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad termed Triple Talaq as an issue of gender justice. But a women activist based in Hyderabad, Khalida Parveen says it’s not. Asks the minister to clarify, a short video below.

Law Minister says it’s an issue of gender justice. It’s beyond my understanding how it’s an issue of gender justice.
If it’s an issue of gender justice, then he needs to clarify. How injustice is happening?
In Islam, status and rights of women have been secured in a better way. Not just in marriage, but in all scenarios.
If anyone doesn’t have knowledge about it, then the need is to read and understand instead of giving statements based on ignorance of subject.
Had they understood this subject clearly, they would realize that their sisters and daughters should be married in this way.
Instead, giving statements based on hearsay does not suit the Law Minister. So, it’s not an issue of gender justice.
Need to give away method of sidelining real issue, and talk on real issue.
