MANUU to organize Sixth Convocation on December 26

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will organize its Sixth Convocation on 26th December 2016, after a gap of two years.

Chancellor Zafar Sareshwala, who enjoys proximity with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will honor students graduating from the Urdu university.

MANUU conducted its Fifth Convocation in 2013 when its Chancellor was Dr. Syeda Saiyidain Hameed and Vice Chancellor was Prof. Mohammad Miyan.

Candidates who have passed various programs through regular and distance modes in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 are eligible to apply for the convocation, according to Prof. Mohd Shahid, Controller of Examinations.

Candidates who have already applied earlier need not apply again.

Regular students who passed out can receive their degrees/diplomas either ‘in person’ or ‘in absentia’, while students of distance education will be awarded ‘in absentia’ only, the university noted. Degree/Diploma certificates receiving ‘in absentia’ will be sent by post to the candidates.

A duly filled application form, along with DD of Rs. 300/- drawn from any nationalized bank in favor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, payable at Hyderabad must reach Examinations Branch of MANUU before last date.

Prof. Shahid informed that the last date for submission of application forms to obtain degrees/diplomas was extended to November 28, 2016. For details, students can visit www.manuu.ac.in.
