Kodandaram playing into the hands of Congress: TRS

Hyderabad: TRS MP Balka Suman has alleged that Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TPJAC) Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram was playing into the hands of Congress party.

Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party office on Sunday, the TRS MP claimed that Kodandaram had no identity before the formation of TPJAC during Telangana statehood movement.

He said it was KCR who made Kodandaram the chairman of JAC. He said Kodandaram had no moral right to criticise Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as he had led the statehood movement for over a decade.

Similarly, Minister K. Tarakarama Rao left a comfortable life in USA to join the Telangana movement.

However, he said Kodandaram did not agree to quit his job even during the statehood movement.

Suman said Kodandaram has been criticising all the actions of the TRS Government without valid reasons. He said that the TRS was aware of forces which are backing the TPJAC chief.

He also alleged that the Congress was on ventilator and the party would be completely wiped out by next elections. (INN)
