Hyderabad Students Win State-Level Singing Competition

Hyderabad’s two young students won first prizes in state-level singing competition I’AM organized by Tajalli Production at Hotel Pearl Regency today.

In girl’s category, Viquarunnisa Ada won first prize beating five other girls in final round. She is daughter of Mohd Infteqaruddin, a resident of Bandlaguda, Hyderabad.

In boy’s category, Md Pervez Khan stood first leaving behind five more contenders in the final round. He is son of Wahab Khan, a resident of Yousufguda, Hyderabad.

Two students Qudsia Ahsant of Bodhan, Nizamabad and Syed Zubair Ahmed of Charminar, Hyderabad were runner ups in girl’s and boy’s category respectively.

Students Sana Unnisa of Siddipet, Medak and Ahmed Ali Rashed of Malakpet, Hyderabad stood at third position in the singing competition.

These students reached final round after tough competition among top 26 students who were shortlisted from an over 1400 participants.

Four noted judges of the competition were: Singer Md Rafi Habib from Mumbai, music field experts Khan Ather, Subhash Gupta and Najmuddin Javed.
