Talasani promises modernisation of Vijay Dairy

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the Telangana Government would modernise Vijay Dairy on par with private dairies.

Speaking after releasing the diary and calendar of Vijay Diary here on Wednesday, the minister said that previous regimes neglected Vijay Diary to encourage private firms.

However, he said that the State Government has been promoting Vijay Diary at a large scale. As part of expansion plan, he said several new products have been introduced in the market.

As against the daily production of 80,000 litre milk, presently 4.5 lakh litres of milk is being produced.

Talasani said several stalls and outlets of Vijay Diary were also being established across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Vijay Diary’s Managing Director Nirmala and senior officials were also present on the occasion. (INN)
