HMRL shifts to new office at Begumpet

Hyderabad: Office of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd, which was partly functioning at the old Metro Rail Bhavan and partly from the new Metro Rail corporate office built at Begumpet, on Wednesday fully shifted to the new corporate office building at Begumpet.

MD and other Heads of Department and their offices have now started fully functioning from the new corporate office.

The new corporate office at Begumpet is built on 2000 sq.yds of land as a five storied building with a built up area of about 50,000 sft. It is an environmental friendly building with natural ventilation and good aesthetics.

A nice garden has been developed around the building which is enhancing the appeal of the building.

Built at a cost of around Rs.10 crore by HMRL engineers, the per sq.ft cost of the building with state of the art amenities has set new standards in terms of economy and amenities, stated HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy.

Earlier HMRL office was operating from a government property originally belonging to GHMC and five apartments nearer to the old office. (INN)
