TRS intensifies membership drive

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has intensified the membership drive across the State.

State ministers, MPs, legislators and other leaders are conducting various programmes to enroll new members. Ministers Eatala Rajender, Jagadish Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao and other leaders participated in different programmes on Sunday.

Eatala participated in a membership drive programme in Bhongir Yadadri district where activists of different political parties joined the TRS. Speaking on the occasion, he said that only Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao could turn the dream of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ into a reality.

He said KCR has been working hard for the overall development of all sections of the society. He claimed that Telangana was on top in the country in social welfare. He said monthly pensions of Rs. 1,000 to Rs., 1,500 were being to Old Age persons, Widows, Physically Handicapped, Beedi Workers, Single Women and others.

Participating in a similar programme at Suryapet, Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy appealed to the people to join the TRS in large numbers. He claimed that the TRS has ensured corruption-free administration during the last two-and-a-half years.

Transport Minister Mahender Reddy took part in membership drive in Viqarabad, Ranga Reddy districts on Sunday. (INN)
