Hyderabad: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) on Wednesday informed that it was in receipt of 153 challenge cases and their results would be intimated within next 10 days by April 22.
Some candidates have filed W.Ps. in the High Court regarding selection under Special Categories viz: – NCC, HG, etc; under Horizontal reservations.
The Board has filed counters and the matter is pending with the High Court. Their cases are being considered as per the orders of the High Court. The result of the candidates will also be intimated in due course, the Board said in a press release today.
The Board has requested candidates not to get misguided and agitated on the instigation of mischievous elements.
It also informed that the verification of character and antecedents of about 10,000 candidates was in progress. “When the matter is under active consideration of the Board, the mischievous propaganda may not be resorted to in the interests of young candidates of the State,” the TSLPRB Chairman said.
