Hyderabad: Completely denying his link with the Miyapur land scam, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Friday announced that he would file a Rs 10 crore defamation suit against Congress leader Digvijay Singh.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Talasani said that Digvjay Singh had levelled baseless allegations against him to tarnish his political image.
He said he would file a criminal case against the Congress leader at Mahankali Police Station and would also send a legal notice. He said some officials, who were allegedly involved in the scam, have been suspended and arrested.
He said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has immediately ordered an enquiry into the scam.
Talasani said he would not spare Digvijay Singh and would take stern legal action him. (INN)
