The Oakridge International School and Oxford Summer Courses have partnered to bring an exciting opportunity for students of grades 9 to 12 to participate in ‘Oxford Summer Courses in India’. The program will be held at Oakridge International School, Hyderabad and aims to develop the necessary academic and study skills, intellectual rigor and creativity needed at a world class university.

The program will enable Indian students to experience the teaching and learning style of one of the world’s top universities at the convenience and cost of India. This was announced at a press conference by Harry Hoare & Robert Phipps, Founders of Oxford Summer Courses and Avneesh Singh, Director – Oakridge International School, at a Press Conference at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, on Saturday.

The course will be taught by Oxford educated tutors from UK. The students will be given an option of choosing one of four subjects – Medicine, Law, Economics and Business, and English Literature and Creative Writing.

In this increasingly competitive world the value of a good education is more important than ever for securing entry to top academic institutions. For this reason, the program aims to provide a learning experience that will help students realize their passion and get an edge in preparation for university applications, said Avneesh Singh.
