Haj 2020: Online submission of applications ends on Dec 5

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan informed that the last date to apply Haj Online Application forms is 5th December.

He also informed that the intending Haj pilgrims who have not applied till now for online Haj application forms may submit their application through online from the website of Haj Committee of India, i.e., www.hajcommittee.gov.in before the mentioned date.

Masiullah Khan also requested the intending Haj pilgrims to bring necessary documents such as Passports, Bank Proof, Address Proof, Passport size photos with white background along with debit or credit card to pay the online HAF processing fee.

Irfan Shareef, Assistant Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee mentioned that the intending Haj pilgrims must have machine readable passport with the expiry date of 20th January 2021 for applying the Online Haj Application form for Haj-2020.

Two day Haj and Umrah Expo 2019 from Oct 12

Hyderabad: Indian Hajj and Umrah Expo 2019 to be held in Hyderabad to enable service providers, hoteliers, travel agencies and other stakeholders to come together to discuss business potential and growth prospects in the arena.

The two-day Hajj and Umrah Expo will be on October 12 & 13 at the KLCC Convention Hall, Shamshabad. Representatives of almost 45 companies including travel agencies, hotels, IT service providers, Umrah Groups, mobile companies, transport companies, catering companies and others are expected to attend the event.

Hi-Tech Events is going to facilitate the entire event. Of the 45+ companies participating in the expo, 25+ will be from Saudi Arabia and 20+ will be from different cities of India, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Delhi, Banglore, Chennai and Kerala.

Three batches of Telangana Haj pilgrims return home

Hyderabad: Three batches consisting of 1188 Haj pilgrims of Telangana State returned back to Hyderabad to a warm welcome at the Haj Terminal of GMR Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Saturday.

The First flight landed at 3:30 am, Second flight at 5:30 am and the third flight landed evening at 7 pm. Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan, along with Executive Officer B. Shafiullah, and members of Haj Committee received the pilgrims at the airport and congratulated them on fulfilling their life time desire of performing Haj.

Masiullah Khan expressed his happiness over the best arrangements made in the Saudi Arabia and said that all the Hajis performed hassle-free Haj in a systematic and disciplined manners.

The pilgrims after fulfilling necessary requirements came out to of the Haj Terininal to join their dear ones in an emotionally charged atmosphere. On Sunday, four flights are scheduled to arrive at Haj Terminal RGI Airport, Shamshabad. (INN)

Haj Committee chairman inspects arrangements for arrival of pilgrims

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Md. Masiullah Khan visited Haj Terminal at RGI Airport, Shamshabad to inspect arrangements to be made for the Haj Pilgrims on their arrival.

The arrival flights of Haj pilgrims are scheduled from 7th September to 15th September and one additional flight is scheduled on 31st August. Around 8,000 Haj pilgrims from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states will be arriving at RGI Airport Shamshabad.

During the inspection Masiullah Khan gave instruction to RGI Airport Authorities and GMR officials for providing best arrangements for Haj pilgrims. (INN)

Food, transit and accommodation arrangements for Haj pilgrims reviewed

Hyderabad: An arrangements meeting was held between the Telangana State Haj Committee and the officials of various departments for the arrangements of transit stay of Haj pilgrims at Haj house.

Haj Committee chairman Masiullah Khan presided over the meeting. Minorities Welfare Advisor A. K. Khan gave necessary instructions to the officials present in the meeting for smooth conduct of the Haj camp.

Meanwhile, Haj Committee Executive Officer B. Shafiullah stated that due to the tight schedule of flights between 26th and 29th July Haj pilgrims would have to report to Haj House with their baggage at least 12 hours before the flight time, instead of 10 hours. A. K. Khan & Masiullah Khan personally inspected the rooms at Haj house.

They also appreciated the efforts made by officials of concerned departments in making quality arrangements for Haj camp operations.

Home Minister inaugurates vaccination camp for Haj pilgrims

Hyderabad: Home Minister Md Mahmood Ali inaugurated the vaccination camp today at Haj House for Haj -2019 wherein, the pilgrims going for Haj has to be vaccinated. He requested the Haj Pilgrims to remain patience, on the difficulties that arose during the course of their journey to the Haj pilgrimage.

Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Md Masiullah Khan has appealed the pilgrims to cautious of their health as they may suffer from fever consequent to the administration of the vaccine to them.

He also said that the Telangana State is the peaceful State in the country and the credit goes to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Nampally MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj has extended his heartfelt good wishes to the pilgrims and requested them to remember him in their Prayers.

Orientation programme for Haj pilgrims on July 7

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan and Executive Officer B. Shafiullah informed that the 10th Haj Training Camp in favour of selected Haj pilgrims for Haj 2019 will be held on Sunday (July 7) from 10 AM to 5 PM at Minar Garden, Salar Jung Museum Road, Darulshifa.

TSHC Executive Officer B. Shafiullah and Asst. Executive Officer Mohammed Irfan Shareef will inform the important logistic arrangements and Haj Journey Preparation to the pilgrims about arrangements for Haj Journey.

Eminent religious scholars will deliver the lecture on Manasik-e-Haj and Ziyarath-e-Madina Munawwarah and will highlight the Haj rituals. Pilgrims proceeding through Private Tour Operators can also attend the training programmes of the State Haj Committee.

Special arrangements have been made for lady pilgrims. The intending Haj Pilgrims are requested not to bring minor children with them during the Haj training camp.

Pilgrims are also requested to bring note books and pens to note down important points. The Haj Pilgrims are requested to maintain time punctuality.

Haj pilgrims asked to plan their journey properly

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Haj Committee has conducted the 9th Training camp at Savera Function Palace, Yousufguda, today.

Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan presided over and advised the pilgrims to take care of their health and he informed to the Haj pilgrims during the Haj Training camp, not to carry unnecessary things or food ingredients in their luggage as everything is available in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He also informed the Haj pilgrims to make “Haj Niyyat” only after boarding the Flights. He informed that the additional flight schedule on 18th July 2019 from Hyderabad Embarkation Point will be for the Pilgrims of Karnataka and Maharashtra but not for the pilgrims of Telangana. The Haj flights of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be from 26th July to 4th August 2019.

Renowned Scholar Moulana Mufti Tajammul Hussain Qasim spoke about Haj and Umrah rituals, while Moulana Ilyas Ahmed Russhadi spoke about visiting the holy city of Madeena Munawwarah.

Irfan Shareef Asst. Executive Officer Telangana State Haj Committee described the procedures and important logistic arrangements during the stay of Haj pilgrims in Mecca and Madina.
