27 lady pilgrims of TS selected in Mehram Quota for Haj – 2019

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan and Executive Officer Mohammed Abdul Waheed on Monday informed that the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai, has selected 27 Lady Pilgrims from Telangana State in Mehram Category through Draw for Haj – 2019.

The Executive Officer said that 937 Applications were received in Mehram Category throughout India, out of which 890 applicants have been found to be eligible. Haj Committee of India considered all applications received on merit.

Since number of applications received were more than the Mehram quota i.e., 500 seats, Qurrah (Draw of lots) was conducted.

He also said that 81 applications were received from Telangana state, out of which 78 applicants have been found to be in order. Of them, 27 lady pilgrims were selected through draw of lots (Qurrah) in Mehram Category.

The selected Lady pilgrims are required to deposit Haj full amount as per their opted category. Payment can be made either online at website: www.hajcommittee.gov.in or in Haj Committee of India account maintained with SBI and UBI through any branch of mentioned banks.

Pilgrims can deposit amount by cheque of any branch of SBI / UBI in favour of the respective bank. The selected lady pilgrims have been advised that after depositing the amount, original valid machine-readable International passport with one color photograph attached to the back of passport with adhesive tape, pay-in-slip of the deposited amount along with Medical Screening and Fitness Certificate to the Telangana State Haj Committee on or before 30th May.
