40% funds sought for Gram Panchayats
Hyderabad: Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M. Kodandaram on Sunday accused the TRS government of neglecting the development of Gram Panchayats in the State.
He said that KCR failed to allocate 40 per cent funds to village panchayats as promised during elections.
The JAC chief, while speaking to reporters in Sangareddy, demanded the TRS government allocate funds as promised to the gram panchayats as per the 73/74 Amendments of the Constitution. (INN)
