55th Zoo Day celebration at Nehru Zoological Park

Hyderabad: Various programmes were held on the occasion of 55th Zoo Day celebration at Nehru Zoological Park here on Saturday.

The 50th anniversary of toy train has been celebrated the train has been flagged off has been done by Executive Director of BHEL.

The newly born baby of Squirrel Monkey along with the parents were released into the enclosure for the public display by Chief Guest P. Raghuveer, I.F.S., PCCF (I/c HoFF), Later, the birthday of female Elephant “Rani” was celebrated at the Elephant enclosure wherein “Rani” has been made to cut the cake in the presence of officers, Zoo staff and visitors.

A newly born Hyena pup has been released into the enclosure for the public display by the animal keepers in the presence of P. Raghuveer, I.F.S., PCCF, (I/c HoFF), Munindra, I.F.S., PCCF, (Admin), Shobha, Addl. PCCF, Sidhanand Kukrety, Director Zoo park, N. Kshitija, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park .
