76 inter second year students booked for malpractice

Hyderabad: As many as 76 intermediate second year students were booked for malpractice during the conduct of Mathematics-IIB, Zoology & History – Paper II by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education across Telangana State on Friday.

Of 76 cases of malpractice, 45 were booked in Nalgonda district alone followed by Jangaon – 11, Bhadradri Kothagudem – 5, Yadadri – 4, Nagarkurnool – 3, Mahabubnagar – 2 and one case each in Vikarabad, Medchal, Ranga Reddy, Jagtial, Mahabubabad and Nizamabad district.

Of 328,115 registered candidates, as many as 316,956 appeared for the exams while 11,159 or 3.40% abstained.

Observers were sent from Board to Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Jangam, Siddipet, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Yadadri and Vikarabad districts. (INN)
