Adilabad students excel in National Abacus Competition

A dozen school students from Adilabad town im Telangana State won prizes in the Abacus and Vedic Maths National Competitions 2019 in different levels.

While Arnab Deshpande and Lavya Agarwal won the 4th level Abacus and notched the Champion trophies, Sri Nitya stood winner in level 3 of the competition.

For Arnab Deshpande it was the second stint in the Abacus. Almost 4,785 students from across the country participated in the competition which was held on February 17, in Chennai.

About 13 students from Genius Kids Creations won prizes in different categories in the competition.

Other kids who won in the competition include Aditya Gutta-Runner up second rank in level 4, Ashaaf Mahmood-Runner up second rank in level 2, Kasavar Advaith-Runner up second rank in level 3 and Shashank-second rank in level 1.

Shashank, aged 6 years, is the youngest of the all participants from Adilabad.

Similarly, Hamsini Bore got runner up 4th rank in Level 4 and Vamshi Raj 4th runner up rank in Level 3.

On the other hand, Priyansh, Mohak Agarwal , Akshaya gutta ,Avigniya gutta , Arsalan Mohammed and T. Lasiya got 3rd rank in their respective levels.

Genius Kids Creations director Shoeb Altaf said that more and more kids would participate in the next year competition and efforts to train other students from town will begin very soon.

He congratulated the students and their parents for this achievement.

The winner kids were felicitated at the Genius IIT Academy.
