Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President Dr. K. Lakshman said that the results of Gujarat Assembly elections would have a major impact on Telangana’s politics.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Lakshman said that the next target of BJP National President Amit Shah is Telangana and he would personally ensure that the party comes to power in next elections.
He said that all Exit Polls have clearly indicated that the BJP would not only retain Gujarat, but also snatch Himachal Pradesh from the Congress.
Lakshman said that the BJP would focus on BCs, SCs and STs to strengthen its base in Telangana. He said that the present TRS Government has failed to fulfil the expectations of common people and they were looking at the BJP as best alternate.
He also informed that BJP chief Amit Shah would conduct a three-day tour of Telangana in the month of January. (INN)
