The delegation, headed by TUWJF General Secretary Syed Ghouse Mohiuddin and Convenor Small & Medium Newspapers Committee SSK Hussaini Iqbal, brought to the notice of Owaisi the problems being faced by small and medium Urdu newspapers.
The delegation requested for the amendment of G.O. 239 to relax the norms for recognition and ease out difficulties in getting Accreditation Cards and Health Cards.
Asaduddin Owaisi instructed his party MLAs to raise the issue in the Legislative Assembly during Zero Hour upon which Bahadurpura MLA Mouzam Khan asked the State Government to support small newspapers. On behalf of the State Government, Home Minister Mahmood Ali responded and promised to take appropriate steps in this direction.
Further, Asaduddin Owaisi assured the delegation to take their problems to the State Government and make the government come out with the suitable solutions.
