Assembly session to continue till March 29

Hyderabad: The budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly would continue till March 29.

The decision was taken in the meeting of Business Advisory Committee which met here on Tuesday. Although the Appropriation Bill was passed in the House today, the State Government decided to continue the session for two more days to introduce two important Bills.

While the Private Universities Bill will be introduced on March 28, the Panchayat Raj Bill would be introduced on March 29.

The BAC meeting, chaired by Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary, was attended by Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao, G. Kishan Reddy (BJP), Akbaruddin Owaisi (MIM), S. Venkata Veeraiah (TDP), Sunnam Rajaiah (CPM) and others. (INN)
