The decision to extend the session for seven more days was taken during the meeting of Business Advisory Committee held at Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary’s chambers in Assembly premises on Friday.
The meeting was attended by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao and leaders of opposition parties.
According to sources, the BAC has decided to resume sittings from January 3. There will be no sittings in the weekend on 7th and 8th January and the session will resume against on January 9.
On January 3rd, the House would continue discussion on “Development of Fisheries in the State” which began on Friday by Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
The Assembly will have short discussion on “Fee Reimbursement” on January 4 and on Singareni Collieries and economy on January 5. The House will also discuss implementation of SC, ST Sub-Plan on January 6. The agenda for remaining three sittings would be decided later, sources said. (INN)
