‘Bathukamma’ will be celebrated in 9 countries: Kavitha

Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP and Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha informed that this year ‘Bathukamma’ festival will be celebrated in nine countries.

Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Kavitha said that the Telangana Jagruthi was organising the Bathukamma festival in nine countries including Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, UK, US and Australia.

She said that the Telangana Jagruthi would celebrate the nine-day festival in all Assembly constituencies of Telangana.

The Nizamabad MP also informed that Telangana Jagruthi has expanded its activities and so far 17 skill development centres have been established across the State.

She said there was a proposal to start one skill development centre for youth with hostel facilities. (INN)
