BJP demands 20-day Assembly session

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday demanded that the forthcoming winter session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly be held for at least 20 working days.

Briefing media persons after chairing the meeting of Telangana BJP Legislature Party in Assembly premises, party floor leader G. Kishan Reddy demanded that the State Government should ensure that the session was held for at least 20 working days to facilitate discussion on various issues concerning common man.

He said that the party would raise several issues pertaining to farmers, students, 2BHK houses for poor, discrepancies in conduct of exams by Telangana State Public Service Commission and other issues.

He said that the State Government would be asked to give clarifications on misuse and diversion of Central funds sent towards input subsidy for farmers.

Kishan Reddy said all decisions taken during the meeting of Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of Assembly and Council should be implemented in letter and spirit. (INN)
