Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President Dr. K. Lakshman said that the party was giving final touches to the roadmap to win next Assembly elections in the State.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Lakshman said that the BJP has prepared the roadmap as per the instructions of party’s national president Amit Shah.
He said that the BJP would undertake several programmes from October this year till 2019 to ensure that it comes to power in next elections. He said that the BJP’s Central leadership was actively involved in the planning process.
Lakshman said Amit Shah’s three-day visit to Telangana in May this year was part of BJP’s poll strategy. He said so far 14 Union Ministers have participated in various programmes organised by the Telangana unit of BJP.
He said just like Chattisgarh, where BJP is in power for the last three terms, it would emerge as the major political force in Telangana. He said that the party has constituted booth-level committees across the State with each committee consisting of 25 members.
The BJP chief said that the party’s focus was on gaining organisational strength in Telangana and conveying the success stories of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to each and every household in the State. (INN)
