Bring stash hidden in foreign banks: CPI

Hyderabad: CPI National Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy on Tuesday said that the Centre’s move to demonetise big currency notes has badly hit the common man.

Speaking to media persons here, the CPI leader said that the Centre had imposed ban on big currency notes saying that it would curb black money but it would not do so.

He said that the black money hoarders has stashed their earnings in foreign banks and demanded the Centre government to crack whip against all of them.

He said that banning Rs 500 and 1000 rupees was only troubling the common people who are finding it hard to meet their requirements.

He said that he doubted the Modi’s government’s sincerity in curbing the black money saying that instead of catching black money hoarders in foreign banks, the Centre was troubling the common people. (INN)
