Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has paid rich tributes to martyrs of the freedom movement, Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev on the occasion of the Shahid Diwas (Martyrs Day) today.
The Chief Minister said that the struggle for freedom was done in many forms and finally the freedom of the country was achieved with great sacrifices made by the martyrs.
On the occasion of 75 years of independence, the country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amruth Utsav with a lot of respect and pride. He said programmes all over the state are being conducted to recall the sacrifices made by the martyrs. (INN)
