Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that there were too many contenders in Congress for the Chief Minister’s post and therefore, the party would win less numbers of seats than the CM candidates.
Speaking after distributing cheques of Rythu Bandhu scheme in Manor mandal of Sangareddy on Monday, Harish Rao said that the claims of Congress party of winning 2019 elections were ridiculous. He said it was difficult even for leaders like Jana Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy to retain their seats.
However, the Congress leaders have been making tall claims of sweeping the next polls. He said that the Congress party would be lost in the wave of Rythu Bandhu scheme.
Harish Rao said that the Congress party’s Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra was a flop and more than the people, party leaders are visible in the yarta.
TRS MP B.B. Patil, MLAs Bhupal Reddy and Ramulu Naik and other leaders were also present. (INN)
