Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has decided to organise “Jana Avedana Sammelanam” from 19th to 28th February in protest against the “anti-people” policies of State and Central Governments.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, former PCC Chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah informed that the protests would be organised in all Assembly constituencies in the State from February 19 onwards.

He said local issues and failures of TRS Government in the State and BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre would be raised during the week-long protest.

The “Jana Avedana Sammelanam” will be launched in Nizamabad on February 19 and it would be attended by AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh and other senior leaders.

Ponnala also informed that the TPCC Extended meeting will be held at Gandhi Bhavan on February 13 to finalise the future strategies. (INN)
