Coronavirus: Telangana gets 7 new cases, No Active Cases in 11 districts

Hyderabad: Only seven new Coronavirus positive cases were reported in Telangana State till 9 pm on Wednesday.

According to the Media Bulletin issued by the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, with the increase in seven cases today, the total number of positive cases has increased to 1016.

However, with 409 persons getting cured/discharged till today, the total active cases in the State are 582.

As many as 11 districts have no active cases. They are Siddipet, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Narayanpet, Wanaparthy, Peddapally, Warangal (Rural), Bhadradri, Nagarkurnool, Mulugu and Yadadri.

A baby boy of Mahbubnagar district with COVID-19 was cured and discharged today from Gandhi Hospital. The baby contacted the infection from his father and was 20 days old at the time of admission and now he is 45 days old at the time of discharge.

He is probably the youngest person in the country to have contacted the infection and recovered successfully. (INN)
