CP asks policemen to identify crime prone areas

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Monday conducted a video conference with all police stations, All SHOs, ACPs, DCPs, Jt.CP., and Addl.CPs.

During the conference, the Commissioner directed that the policemen conduct a Hot spot Analysis. Every Police Station limits has some areas and spots, where occurrence of crime is more. Similarly, hot spots for traffic accidents are there. It was discussed to identify, analyse and tackle such spots.

The policemen were also asked to prepare a citizens’ feedback report on their performance for the last six months. The report would comprise of inputs like how citizens have given rating to various police stations and police officers was shacked.

The Police Commissioner also stressed on having continuous improvement in overall functioning of police. This includes beat duty, Petition enquiry, dial hundred, investigations, court work, record maintenance, etc., (INN)
