New Delhi: Former Union Minister and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday made it clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party would not have any alliance with the TRS in Telangana in the next Assembly elections.
Speaking to media persons in the national capital, Dattatreya completely dismissed reports of BJP having a secret understanding with the TRS.
He said BJP would contest on all 119 seats alone. He alleged that the TRS Government was indulged in large scale corruption and irregularities.
He alleged that there were huge irregularities in the distribution of sheep, buffaloes and breeding of fish schemes. He said that the BJP, after coming to power in Telangana, would order an inquiry into these allegations.
Meanwhile, Telangana BJP president Dr. K. Lakshman informed that the party’s national president Amit Shah would launch election campaign in Telangana on September 15.
He claimed that BJP was the only alternative for TRS. He said that the BJP was powerful in all constituencies of Telangana and it would contest alone. He said several leaders, belonging to Congress and TRS, were willing to join the BJP.
