Dattatreya resigns from Union Cabinet

Hyderabad: As part of massive reshuffle in the Union Cabinet, Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has resigned from his post.

Bandaru Dattatreya submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday morning. According to sources, the BJP leadership has given an assurance to Dattatreya that he would be made a Governor.

Else, his services would be utilised to strengthen the party in Telangana State by giving the position of Vice-President.

Another Union Minister Sitaraman is among eight ministers who were made to resign from the union cabinet which would be reshuffled on September 3. (INN)
