Hyderabad: Former MP and senior Congress leader V Hanumanth Rao on Monday said that he would tour villages from Tuesday and would explain the masses about the difficulties arising out of Centre’s demonetization policy.
Speaking to media persons, Hanumantha Rao said that the nation was going through severe hardships despite the completion of 50 days of note ban.
He said that Narendra Modi failed to explain to the nation as to what did the government achieve following note ban drive during his address to the nation on the eve of New Year.
The Congress leader said that the farmers and the poor are the worst hit by the Centre’s move and criticized the Modi government saying that if failed to initiate steps to mitigate the hardships of the people due to its ‘illogical decision’ of note ban.
I will tour villages and explain as to how Modi dealt a severe blow to the rural economy, the Congress leader remarked. (INN)
